Question: I'm a hypocondriact, is there anyway i can be tested for everything!?
sounds really silly, but i've been this way for a while!.
i just wondered if there was anyway i could go to a hospital or doctors and ask to be tested for everything so that the hypocondria would go away!.

Your best bet is to start with a psychiatrist!. They are the ones than can help you find ways to deal with your hypochondria!. I doubt a medical doctor would consent to order every test for you!. If they did, they are only looking at making a buck, not helping you with your underlying problem!. If you do go see an MD or DO, please ask for a referral to a reputable psychiatrist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can't be tested for everything, but a regular physical normally shows signs of illness!. In reality, it doesn't make sense to be tested for everything since they can't even test for simple things like the cold!. Your best bet is to have a regular physical!.
The hypochondria isn't going to go away even if you could get tested for everything!. Although it might give you some sense of ease, it doesn't get rid of your underlying disorder!. For that, you will need to see a psychiatrist!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope!. Without even going into the cost of so many unnecessary tests, many tests have certain risks and complications associated with them!. Unnecessary tests can do more harm than good if there is no medical reason to have them!. Plus the number of conditions that exist would make it pretty impossible to be tested for everything!. And you would not be able to make it go away like that because you would still feel like they missed something, or a condition would develop after you had been tested for everything!.

I don't think they would have too much of a problem running tests on you for everything they could possibly think of!. If that's what you want to do, they are going to charge a lot of money!. You would also have to go back a million times because alot of tests require blood and they can't just draw that many vials of blood out of you at once!. It would kill you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i know i have the same problem, and i've got my hospital bills cranked up right now because of it!.
i think it's from watching too many shows like, ER, and Grey's Anatomy!.
That sometimes you could be perfectly fine and have a brain tumor!.
