Question: What should I do if I'm constantly falling asleep in school!?
I get plenty of sleep!. My school starts really early (7:25 am) so I go to bed around 10!. Why am I falling asleep in school and often taking two hour naps (unintentionally) when I get home!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may need to look at your diet!. Also are you taking too much exercise, making your muscles tired!? You're probably going through puberty meaning that you are growing fast!. This means you need lots of food and sleep to get you through this period of time!. Experts suggest you have 10 hours of sleep per night!. In reality it's much more sensible to aim for 8+ hours per night!. If you are getting this per night then there is no reason you should be falling asleep in lessons!. There's a possiblity that you have a medical problem!. Please look at the website below for further help about this!.

Good luck!.

What are you eating!? Diet is probably the reason!.

First thing you need to do when you get up is drink a full glass of ice water!. Then go shower and whatever!. Then have a good, large breakfast!. Eat a 2-3 egg omelet with a full serving of vegetables in it!. Bring an apple and a piece of string cheese to eat as a snack!. Eat a good lunch, but don't eat too much!.

Avoid sugar!. Avoid eating anything white (bread, rice, potato, etc)!. No juice, either!. If you want fruit, eat the fruit - don't drink it!. No soda pop!. If you want caffeine, drink a cup of green tea!. It's healthy and has tons of caffeine!.

Get more exercise!. If you can, wake up 20 minutes earlier and go for a brisk walk around the block a few times!. That will get your blood pumping!.

Chances are that the reason you feel so tired is that your diet sucks and you don't get enough exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This could have to do with your diet, your activities, or even the medicine you take!. Having a very unhealthy diet and binge eating will leave you feeling worn-out all of the time!. Drinking night caps or drinking before you sleep will prevent you from getting REM sleep!. If you aren't getting enough exercise this could also lead to your body feeling that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may want to change your diet and exercise more often, both can give you an energy boost to hep you through the day!. Though it may be a bigger issue, Lyme's disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Ebstein Barr may be a possibility!. If the exercise and diet don't help, you may want to see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the 2 hour naps i think is normal!.!.!. when i would get home from shool i used to fall asleep around 5 and wake up about 8:30!.!.!. and i didnt just go take a nap!. i would sit down to have a after school snack and just fall asleep!. sometimes sleeping too much will just make us more tired so i would suggest getting more excersize!.!. that might help to make you more energetic and alert during school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
