Question: 102 Degree Fever Question!?
I saw where having a fever can actually be a good thing!. WebMd says it helps fight off sickness!. So should i take an asprin to take my fever down or leave it!. I am talking about a 102 degree fever!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

A low grade fever is good to keep if your sick because it does help fight the sickness off ,I believe if you have over a 100 degrees fever you should take something to lower it!. To high of a fever is bad for you and could cause a seizure!. If you have 102 degree fever you have a pretty bad infection and need to take some antiboticsto help with the infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A fever is a good thing for the same reason it's a bad thing!. An increase in body temperature essentially cooks the pathogens in your body, but it doesn't differentiate between good and bad!. That is to say that it will denature the bad bacteria/viruses, but it will also denature your own body's cells!.
You should take an advil to control the fever, if it increases any further, and is sustained, it could cause permanent damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
