Every time that I clean my right ear with a Q-tip, my throat itches. Why is this!
Question: Every time that I clean my right ear with a Q-tip, my throat itches!. Why is this!?
This has been going on for about 2 years and it is very annoying because i have to stop and then i cough for like 5 minutes to make the itching go away!. I'm not even doing it very hard, so i dont understand what the problem is! oh, and its only in my right ear, which is weird!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't really know - could be that you are irritating the Eustachian tube that connects the ear nose and throat!? In any case, you shouldn't insert Q-tips in to the ear, its not good!. If you really need to clean your ears, ear drops are much safer :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, the ear, nose and throat are all connected, so your throat probably reacts to the ear cleaning!.
By the way, you really shouldn't put a q-tip in your ear canal, as you can be pushing some hard earwax into your ear and you can easily damage your ear drum!.
Not to scare you too much, but in the ER I used to work in, someone had developed an infection in the brain because he had accidentally pierced the eardrum, and it resulted in an infection, which traveled into his bloodstream, and to his brain!.
So Q-Tips are bad! I never used them after that!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It prob has something to do with the way your nerves are arranged!. Each ear is different!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
