Question: Need help not itching bug bites!!?

can you help me stop itching bug bites!? i want to know some things to do to not itch as much!. i cant help it there so itchy if you could tell me that would be great!

Here are several things you can do:

(1) Put an over-the-counter anti-itch medication on them!. Your pharmacist can help you choose the right one for you!.

(2) If you must scratch, don't scratch the bite directly!. Scratch AROUND the bite!. This interrupts the message from the bit to your brain and visa versa!.

(3) Apply ice to the bite!.

(4) At bedtime, take Benedryl, which is very helpful, but makes you sleepy!.!.!.avoid it during the day!.

you mean to make them stop making them itch or stop scratching them!? because you can put a square of gause over it and bandaid it down if its that bad, that way even if you go to scratch it you wont get at it :\ and as far as stopping the itches, there are ointments for that!. lol i said ointments :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

You might try using bug repellent before going outside so you don't get so many bites!. Bugs carry diseases that be worse than itch!.

If you do get bit, try a little rubbing alcohol or cortisone cream rubbed on them for the itch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
