Question: Chantix and it's side effects!?
I quit smoking 6 months ago and still have the urge to smoke a cigarette, i think about it constantly and have suffered with depression all of my life!. The cigaretts have acted as a crutch, they have pretty much been my medication!.
My doctor perscribed a low dosage of Chantix!. I am worried about the side effects, i have been reading all about peoples bad experiences with the drug and now im worried and wondering whether its worth it!.

Since you know what the side effects and adverse reactions are (the most serious one being depression) go ahead and take the Chantix!. It works wonderfully for quitting smoking!. However, keep a close eye on yourself to see if you start experiencing side effects!.

Your doctor should have asked You some specific questions re this medication!.
If You have certain conditions, or have ever had a fit or are epileptic then it is dangerous!.
