The only permanent harmful effect is lung damage caused by the smoke, but in that respect it is less harmful than tobacco because of the absence of nicotine and because it is consumed in lower doses!.

One of the most clear long term effects of cannabis would be the apparent loss of brain productivity!. This does happen; THC wraps around your brain cells and avoids proper communication between them!. Unlike alcohol, though, it doesn't kill the braincells, it just puts them on "standby"!. If you cease smoking marijuana, the THC in your brain will slowly fade away, leaving you brand new!.

Summarized, marijuana is healthier than most legal drugs!. Heck, even beneficial effects have been found, such as its incredible aptitude at eliminating superbacteria, bacteria that has been mutated by antibacteria and resists it!.

The claim that marijuana is a gateway drug is completely unfounded!. The statistics show that the great majority of hard drugs users have smoked marijuana!. What it omits, though, is that the great majority of the population have smoked marijuana too!.

No!.!.!.!.no lung damage!. You might develop a habit of smoking but it won't be an addiction!. The worst thing that will happen is your parents (not sure of your age) or your employer will find out and you could get in trouble!. Also depending on where you live it could be fairly illegal!. But I know a lot of people who smoke and who have smoked for a long time and they have had no physical effects--have you ever heard of anyone overdosing on marijuana or getting into a car crash because they were too high to drive!? I haven't!. However!.!.!.!.!.some people who have anxiety disorders do not like the effects of smoking because it makes them feel paranoid!.
