Answers:
If you don't have insurance, around here, Texas, a Neurologist's office visit is $250 and that is just for just seeing you!. If tests are done, such as an EEG, that was another $650!. If you have an MRI of your brain, it would cost another $3200!. Without a referral from your General Practice physician, the wait time for an appointment is about a month, so I would see my GP first (about $65)!.
I suggest not boxing until you get checked out and that you might wish to consider switching to another hobby or profession permanently!. Maybe it is time to think about just why you want to continue this sport when the force of a professional boxer's fist is equivalent to being hit with a 13 pound bowling ball traveling 20 miles per hour, or about 52 g's!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The Neurologist is a specialist who will probably charge around $100 to $200 for an office visit!. Any tests they order like a CAT scan would be extra - a few hundred more!.

If you live near a medical school or state funded hospital it can be cheaper to go to one of their outpatient clinics!. Payment plans may also be available!. To find state funded hospitals or teaching hospitals near you you'll just have to Google your city and zip and some key words I've mention like "medical schools!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you live in the UK then ask your GP to refer you!. This won't cost anything although the wait will depend on how urgent your GP feels your appointment is!.

If you live elsewhere then I'm sorry I can't help!.

I would also suggest that you stop boxing until your condition has been diagnosed and treated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
