Question: Help! My dr thinks I have lice but I don't!?
Yesterday when I saw her she couldn't tell if I had lice in my hair or bad dandruff!. I've always had bad dandruff, all my life!. My head though isn't itchy or red and my spouse's scalp isn't itchy or red!.
No one in my household has been exposed to lice and I don't think it is, I think it's dandruff!. What do you think!?!? Should I use the lice shampoo she gave me even though I think I only have a bad case of dandruff!? I don't have any of the symptoms of lice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can see lice and the best place to look for them is in the back of your neck, in your hair!. have hubby take a look!. They are flat, silvery looking and scoot around pretty fast!. There is no way to be sure about being exposed to them!. All you would have had to do is try on a dress or shirt at a store after someone with lice tried it on and bingo, you got 'em!. My daughter had them when she was a teen years ago after having a sleep over with a friend and another girl had them and didn't know about it!. Also had a few grand kids that had them too!.
If all you have is dandruff, try any shampoo with coal tar ingredients!. It stinks but helps and rinse twice as long as you shampoo!. Some dandruff is from simply not rinsing well enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
