Question: So, I got a Flu Shot Friday because I'm paranoid about getting the flu and I have a question!?
2 days later the area in my arm where I was given the shot is a little bit red and tender!. It's not that painful!. It feels like a bad bug bite!. Is this normal of a flu shot!? I've never had a reaction before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
use a heating pad or some icy hot, but it sure beats the flu!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats not a reaction, that is just normal for a flu shot to do that, its better than having the flu, I have got them for 30 years!. Its lasts about 3 days, you will be better tomorrow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for some people that is normal!.

you can't catch the flu from the shot because the germ is dead that they give you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have tended to rub it, don't worry can't expect to have a needle stuck in your arm and not feel it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same reaction every year when I get my flu shot!. Using a heating pad will make you more comfortable and a little soreness in your arm certainly beats the flu - which I am now recovering from!Www@Answer-Health@Com
