Question: My sister has been smoking pot at school, what should I do!?
She is only 13 and if she is caught at school she is screwed!. I don't know what to do!. It's not my right to tell my mom but I don't know if I should have her best interest in mind!. Here's another question, if we go to the doctors for a urine sample it will say she's done drugs but will they tell my mom that she's doing it!? I want some way for my mom to find out without my telling her so that my sister can get help because it's dangerous!. Also, in your opinion how bad is marijuana!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

i might not know what the best thing to do is, but my suggestion would be to talk to her yourself, tell her how you feel about her doing it and make her realize that abusing that drug could damage her!. In my opinion marijuana is not as bad as people would want you to believe, it is a gateway drug though, ive known people that started with marijuana and led up to other things!. The thing with young teens, even if parents tell them not to do something they will always go around their parents back and do it anyway until they start suffering the consequences!. trust me i know i did that!.!.!. =/Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't tell your mom, marijuana is not necessarily a bad thing at all!. Some people do misuse it, like alcohol!. But alcohol is wayy different than marijuana!. You should talk to her, and make sure she does NOT do it at school!. Make sure she is safe and make sure she doesn't get caught!. She should not be scolded, but tough how to do it responsibly!.

Confront your sister about it in a very calm and brotherly fashion!. Let her know that you don't want to get your parents involved and that you have her best interest in mind, and notify her of the risks of bringing any type of illegal substance to school!. Smoking pot is not the biggest of deals, but doing it at school will get you into much more trouble and you are much more likely to get caught!. Marijuana is pretty harmless to be 100% completely honest with you, much less harmful than drinking is !.I started when I was about your sisters age and used to smoke pot before school every day during my high school years, no big deal!. However, there were always the kids that were stupid enough to bring it into school and get caught with it!.!.!.it is a very unessecary risk and your sister can find herself on probation doing a bunch of unessecary community service!. Tell her the consequences and that you care about her!. If they don't test for marijuana they won't find any!. Also, there is a privacy law and the doctor can not share information w/out a patient's consent!. marijuana isn't as bad as some other drugs!. However I don't think that doctors can tell a child's parents that they have been doing drugs unless they are like under 10 because that would violate the doctor-patient contract!. Marijuana is not as bad as cigarettes!. There has never been a reported case of someone dying of weed!. But it is dangerous at this age!. Tell your mom if you really love your sister then you will help her!. If she gets mad at you then so be it!. When she gets raped or pregnant you will say at least I tried to help her and you wont feel bad about it!. don't smoke weed until your at least 16!. I would actually speak with her or your guidance councilor!. Let them know that she is doing something!. They can actually counsel you how to cope with her!.

He had very bad side affects with Ritalinn and ended up gaining a LOT of weigh!.

When your sister ask your mom where she came up with this information all she will have to say is that isn't important!. What you can do is type up a letter so she won't know who sent it but your sister can say that it was from somebody that is mad at her or something like that!.

I had lots of time to think and realized what my dad told me was true!. I was a locksmith and made lots of money and could have made a lot more but I would only make enough to buy my drugs and never got ahead!.
Now I'm 48 and have a job that I barely make enough to do extra things with my new family!. Teeth are bad and falling out because pot wasn't enough and I did meth, coke, acid and other drugs because if pot can make you feel one way, and it didn't hurt me like everyone said it would, what makes me think others will hurt me!? So now I'm paying for what I did!.
Sure one may not pay for it right away but in the future she will be happy that you did what you did and thank you for it!.

As for talking to her, I would just level with her and explain that, yeah, pot ISN'T necessarily that bad, but that doesn't mean that it's not illegal!. Explain to her that if she's caught, not only will she be expelled, but she'll also most likely face juvenile charges and have to see a probation officer every month!. Also, tell her to look at the people she's smoking pot with at school!. Ask her how many people that is, because I'm sure it's only a handful!. Explain that those are the only people smoking pot at school, and it's obviously not the "cool" thing to do, because if it were, then there would be a lot more people doing it!.
