Help for couples "coping" with epilepsy?!
Question: Help for couples "coping" with epilepsy!?
My boyfriend has epilepsy!. I was just wondering if any of you guys knew any websites or tips to help a couple trying to "cope" with epilepsy!. It hurts a lot when he tells me what he has to go through!. At the moment he is suffering some health problems!.
I also would like to know what I should do if he has a Grand Mal seizure or anything for that matter!.

my husband has epilepsy so i know what you are going through!. if you want to talk just email me!. if he has a grand mal try to time it!. anything over a few minutes and he needs to go to the hospital!. try to keep him on his side during the seizure!. afterwards, let him rest!. i wish i could help you more on "coping"with it!. i have been with my husband for 2 1/2 years and this is still hard for me!. the best thing you can do is listen, be understanding, don't try to baby him too much!. read as much information as possible!. make sure he is getting good medical treatment!.
