Question: I pulled an all-nighter and now i feel like ****!?
my sleeping schedule was all fucked up so i decided to just not go to sleep!. and i've been awake for like 19 hours so i know the worst is yet to come!. what are some ideas on how to stay energized and not fall asleep!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, my first response was RedBull!.

My real response is going to be set you alarm for 1/2 an hour from now, and take a nap!.

When you need to sleep you need to sleep, otherwise when you do actually get to sleep, you won't sleep well because you'll be over tired, and you'll be in the same situation tomorrow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just got to sleep!. Hopefully you don't have anything to do right now or later, but go to sleep, sleep as long as you want, even if when you finally wake up is in the middle of the afternoon or the middle of the night!. Then after that try to get your sleeping schedule on track!. Sleep at least 7 hours each night!. Not sleeping is terrible for your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stay awake as naturally as you can, then go to sleep at your normal bed time otherwise if you go to sleep now you will totally mess up your "body clock" and you will feel tired during the day and want to be up all night! It may take a few days to get back into your sleeping habits but whatever you do DON'T try and sleep it off!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try going to sleep at a reasonable time and getting a good night's sleep [have a couple of drinks or whatever to achieve this], get up at an early time and keep at it for a few nights and your sleeping schedule should straighten itself out!.lWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try to space out a few 15 min naps!. If you sleep for more than 15 min!. something called sleep inertia kicks in!. Sleep inertia means that your body wants a long rest, and you'll be more tired when you wake up!. If you keep your nap under 15 min, you'll get some energy back and you won't feel lethargic when you get up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is very dangerous!. If you can, try no to drive!. When you get a chance make a effort to get back into a regular sleep pattern, it is one of the most important things!.
