Help! Tiny bald patch has appeared?!

Question: Help! Tiny bald patch has appeared!?
It's only tiny but it's on the front of my head and noticeable because I always have short hair!.

Does this mean I have some terrible illness starting or do random bald patches come and go!? What I mean is will hair eventually grow back on that part!.

I'm male and only 24!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If this is a spherical patch, with normal pink scalp underneath, it is probably alopecia arreata!. This is an auto immune condition!. Individual patches last a year or so, but may be replaced by others!. The condition has no treatment but usually burns itself out after a few years, leaving the hair normal!. Only very rarely indeed does it progress to alopecia totalis and then recovery often occurs eventually anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it worries you I would book an appointment with dermatologist/trichologist!.

The larger chains of boots have some hair loss treatment schemes where you get properly examined and then sold minidoxil and/or propecia!.

Try not to worry and stress out, need to be properly examined to know whats exactly happening!.

Hair loss treatments are expensive btw so if youre head is an odd shape a buzz cut could fit the bill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Might be alopecia

It could grow back, it's not unheard of, some people only lose small patches, some people lose it all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
