There are several ways to go about un-stuffing your nose!. They range from simple to complex and it's up to you to figure out what works best for you!

First, a simple solution you can use at night: adhesive nasal strips (i!.e!. breathe-right nasal strips) and/or vick's vapor rub or something similar to help open the sinuses!.!.!. spicy food, hot drinks and exercise can help with this during the day!

Another fairly easy option is to use steam to unplug your sinuses!. This can be done with a pot of hot water (use mint/eucalyptus/rosemary essential oils for an extra boost) or even a steamy cup of tea!. Just throw a towel over your head and breathe in the vapors!. (If you're using a tea/coffee cup, just get your nose as close as possible!)

The next, more invasive technique is using a sinus spray!. Try a basic saline first, since it contains no unnecessary medications!. I would also recommend a homeopathic spray or solution like "Sinusin" or "Zicam"!. These have no side effects and can often work just as well as prescription sprays!.

I've also found that inverted yoga postures help to unplug clogged sinuses!. Even simply bending forward at the waist and hanging for a minute or so helps!

Another (perhaps more daring) option is the regular use of a neti pot!. This is a means of saline nasal irrigation which has been practiced the world over for thousands of years!. Once you get the hang of it, it's really easy and painless, and keeps symptoms of colds and allergies at bay for seasons on end!. I can personally attest to this!

I hope this helps you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although you are a vegetarian perhaps you are a lacto vegetarian who consumes mucus generating dairy products!. In that case you could replace dairy products with soy milk!.
