Question: Anyone know what this might be!?
On my son who is 2, one side of his pubic area is larger than the other!. Not his penis or balls!. But the fat, skin part I guess you can say!. One side looks like it is swollen and the other side looks normal!. I do not think that he could of bumped it, and it doesn't seen to bother him!.
What could this be!? I am just looking for advice!. I know I should consult with a doctor!. But what are the possibility's that this is a hernia or just from where his testicles haven't dropped!?

Since I am not certain how far above the penoscrotal region the swelling is I can ascribe it to the general inguinal area (around the genital side of the bend of his legs)!. It could be a benign angiomyxoid tumor but as the description is limited it could be a hernia especially if he is in the middle of potty training or something as simple as genital lymphedema which could have no cause!. I would do as you suggested and see his physician or at least call the office and ask them if you should bring him in especially because it is not causing any discomfort or pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know, but whenever I've taken my 2 year old in for well baby checks, I've noticed the pediatrician presses on this area!. Unfortunately, I've never asked what he's feeling for!. My best guess is possible hernia!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
