Question: Swollen feet!? Help what can it be!?
My mother is 65 and for the last few weeks her feet and ankles have been swelling!. She is on a diuretic!. Does anyone know anything about feet!. She also takes a high blood pressure med, and an antidepressant!. She is not overwieght!. Any help would be greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The diuretic may not be working!. It may also be inflammation due to arthritis etc!. She needs to see her doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This one is very hard to answer!. There are so many things that cause swelling in the feet and ankles and often no answer is found!. In my case it was my thyroid!.

Her diuretic may not be working or she could be taking in too much salt!. Some times ankle and legs swell due to hot weather!. Have her put them up when sitting down!. Yes, certain medications can make you swell!. What happens it blood goes down the leg and doesn't return up the leg the way it should!. They do have stockings to help with that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well u know blood travels from your feet upwards their could be many reasons for swollen feet one common cause is poor circulation tell her to keep her feet propped up as much as possible so her circulation can improve i recommend a doctor's visit asap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
