Why won't my cough go away?!

Question: Why won't my cough go away!?
Hi everyone, I'm a 31y/o female and since 2 months ago I've developed a cough that won't go away!. It's getting worse now!. I've never smoked or drink and I didn't have a cold or anything- so I'm wondering why it won't go away!. Sometimes I'll have a coughing fit and people think I have a cold! I've taken cough syrup and cough candy to no avail- it's frustrating!. I drink lots of hot liquids and soup which help temporarily!. I've also noticed that my throat tickles at the bottom and when I take a deep breath- this provokes a coughing fit!. Sometimes if I talk long enough to say 2 or 3 sentences!. I'll start to cough!. As I wrote this, I've coughed several times!. Help! is there anything I can do to get rid of my cough!? Has anyone had this before!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
