Question: Does smoking a pipe or cigars effect your immune system for good or bad!?
I smoke a pipe or a cigar occasionally, usually just socially!. my mom has a really bad cold/head thing and i was wondering if smoking is going to make me more likely or less likely to catch whatever she's got!.

No there is no medical evidence that it does!. Especially since pipe and cigar smokers don't inhale!. I have never thought a cold was due to me smoking a pipe!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
offcourse its bad!!!!!!!!!! Is that even a question! All that smoke clouding ur lungs!.!. it sits there like bad ash until it covered ur airway completely!. If hot enough, it will GOD FORBID slowly burts ur oxygen holes in the lungs, but they are not replaceable :(
So yes, the immune system will be effected if it cant beat those nasty tar and germs ur body is sucking in willingly!!
Well, the head and cold thing may be many reasons, allergies, hayfever, migranes!.!. I doubt its the smoke!.!. but i wont rule it out!.
