Gemma, the injection you'll be having is a booster!. Even if you did have a reaction as a baby (did your parents tell you this!? Check with them, and see if they can tell you a bit more about your 'reaction', it isn't uncommon for babies to have reactions to inoculations) it might not be so severe this time!. If you're frightened of having the injection, opt out at school and ask to have it done at your local GP's surgery!. The nurses there will know what to do if you do have a reaction, and they can help you if you get really panicky!. But, know the facts!.
Diptheria is a seriously nasty disease for young children, and can be fatal for them!. Tetanus (also called 'lockjaw') can happen to anyone - it's a bacterial infection that can infect wounds (like from a rusty or dirty object) and which, if untreated, can kill!. Polio (Poliomyelitis) was once a huge epidemic killer in your grandparents' generation - and it's a virus!. Inoculation (an injection to prevent you becoming ill with these) can help protect you for a few years at least!. Some things are not routinely given - the 'flu jab is given every year to the elderly, but in the UK we only inoculate against diptheria, and polio twice in a lifetime! (though if you do cut yourself on something rusty or dirty, it's best to get a tetanus jab to make sure you're protected)!. You need booster jabs to make sure that your immune system can recognise all of these nasties, and can train itself to fight against the real thing!.
Be brave!. It took me a year to be brave, to go and get immunized for meningitis C - but I knew I had to give myself a 'fighting chance'!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your Doctor as they can tell you for sure whether or not you need to get it or if you would have another reaction!. It'll only take them a few minutes to let you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your school knows your medical records and finds that the shots you have had already are sufficient, then you won't need it!. Otherwise you get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you shouldnt need it again if you have already had it done!.
call your doctor and check with them first!
if you do have to have it done you will be fine it doesnt hurt!!

go to your personal doctor, show him your reports and then accordingly let the doctor give you an advice as to if you should take an injection or notWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure the reaction wouldn't be as bad as having the diseases!. Perhaps your doctor can advise further!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont have them at school
go to your local nurse/doctor

that is where i got mine done like 2 weeks ago!
instead of at school and i got a little sticker haha!
