Help....One of my patients today passed away....?!
Question: Help!.!.!.!.One of my patients today passed away!.!.!.!.!?
in the ER of a pulmonary embolism and I am feeling very sad that I couldn't help them! Any words of encouragement would be very much appreciated!. Has anyone ever felt helpless in a situation and if so, how did you deal with it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My wife is a nurse and I've seen her go through the same thing!. I think people forget that nurses can get attached to their patients and the lose can be painful!. It is a very emotionally challenging career!.
But take heart that God has put you in this position because he know you are strong enough to handle it!. He has made you for such a calling and I'm sure you are great at it!.

i just lost my daughter day after mothers day
and i still hurt and after reading this !.makes me feel better knowing that there are people like you that still care a bout others it is good that some one like you cares a bout their patients
and i hope there are more like you out there !.i know it hurts hon i feel like i let my daughter down i couldn,t help her she died of a bad heart liver and kidneys sounds to me you have a good heart you just keep caring to me that makes a lot of different s when some one cares you

Sorry to hear it babe!. As a layman, I know nothing, but it's not like you are even aware of the clot until it is doing it's damage, right!? You just have to treat a rollercoaster of symptoms!.
Remember all the people you've helped, and remember the patient is past pain and is in the arms of the creator!.
