I hate needles to the last time i went for a blood test i could not stop sweating/shaking and hyerventilating!! I asked the nurse please dont hurt me!.!.!.!.!.and she said "sweetie its already done and dusted the needles out"!.!.!.i was like huh!? it did not hurt 1 bit!.
Just tell them your scared of needles!.!.!.they hear it often!.!.!.!.so will be sure to be gentle and distract you!. You can even ask for a butterfly needle which is really tiny!.
Take deep breathes, no may how tempting dont look at the needle at all just look away, and stay seated for a minute or so after their done to avoid that horrible light headedness!
But please dont lose sleep its nothing to worry about!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok!.!.!.I am scared to death of needles, too (as in!.!.!.I cringe when I watch ER)!. I ask to lay down instead of sitting and ask for a second nurse who talks to me the ENTIRE time the blood is drawn!. Also, ask for a butterfly needle!. They are small and flexible and imo hurt less!.

Dont look at the needle, and do not tense up, you will hardly feel a thing, it is only a small scratch and over in seconds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
