Question: How long before a bulimic shows signs !.!. !?
Im doing a health project about bulimia, how long does a person have to be bulimic for before they show signs i!.e lose alot of weight, gets sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many bulimics are that way YEARS before anyone finds out!. And, actually, bulimics tend to be average to above average weight!. Usually the "skinny" bulimics are also somewhat anorexic!.
Teeth can fall out from all the acid!.
Blood vessels can pop in the eyes from vomiting!.
But these things are rare, really!.
The only immediate sign is someone goes into a bathroom and comes out with mucus in their nose/throat and perhaps red eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not have any experience with an actual person that I know who has had bulimic at all much less for a long time!. But I have heard people discussing this and also some articles!. I do not think I should comment on something that I know very little about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I lost about 40 lbs in 3 mos!. But then could not loose anymore!. My teeth became sensitive to cold and hot after about a year!. Thees are not symptoms any one else can see!. Sore throat on and off the whole time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
