Question: I get headaches when a low pressure moves in!. Why!?
!.!.!.and what exactly does 'low' or 'high' pressure mean!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First, high and low pressures in the atmosphere!. This relates to the depth of the atmosphere!. The thicker, the higher the pressure!. Convection currents in the atmosphere create wave action in the atmosphere just like waves in water are the result of wind!. High and low pressure areas are like ripples in the atmosphere!. High and low is a relative measure to the average pressure!. Higher pressure tends to be clear and low pressure tends to be cloudy!. As to why you get headaches, only your doctor can tell for sure, but you may have a sinus problem!. The air pressure in your ears equalizes across your eardrum to prevent it from bursting through tubes in the back of your throat!. If these tubes become obstructed, usually from something like a cold or allergy, the air is trapped behind your eardrums and if the atmospheric pressure goes down, the trapped air in your ears can cause pain which you might feel as a headache instead of an earache!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
