All studies federal and/or independent have yet to prove anything although the independent will be, um, about 200% less biased and bullshit to scare everyone!.
Did anyone catch the article like a year and a half ago on Yahoo linked from Drudge Report saying marijuana smoke contains more toxins than cigarette smoke BUT, the reason you see potheads just old and wrinkly with no adverse health effects is because the active ingredient that gets you high from pot (THC) cancels literally all of the carcinogenic (cancer-causing) toxins out!?
Oh wait!. That's positive about pot!. Of course nobody read it because it was up for a day then lost to the ******* bullshit that is fed to Americans about marijuana!.

You have to be a smoker if you want to smoke marijuana!. And it is a very coarse smoke!. Not smooth at all!. Ask your teacher about brewing a tea with the weed!. I understand that this method of taking in the drug is the easiest of all!. I do not do drugs!. I don't need them!. But I did know people who used them regularly!. Especially in graduate school!. Their voices were raspy, and it was painful just to have a normal conversation with them!. For them to speak and for me just listening to them!. As for tar, there's residual tar in anything you burn!. The habit - notice that i didn't say addiction - just isn't worth it!. Mrs!. Reagan was right on target when she said, "Just say NO"!.
