What is this rash.... please help?!
Question: What is this rash!.!.!.!. please help!?
I have been feeling a little bit crappy these last couple of days, today I just feel a whole lot worse but I have no got a rash on the side of my tummy and is purple in colour and like pin pricks but its not raised up, just under the skin!. Could it be just some kind of infection, who should i call, i am in the UK and dr's not open, no nasty replies please, thanks in advanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

Any kind of unexplained rash should be looked at by a professional - speaking from experience here!. Don't panic, it could be nothing but best to get it checked asap in my opinion :-) If docs isn't open go to A&E just to be on the safe side, especially if you've not been feeling well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

skin contact with an irritant
bacterial or viral infection, e!.g!., by the viruses that cause chickenpox, smallpox, cold sores and measles
fungal infection, such as ringworm
reaction to vaccination
skin diseases such as eczema or acne
exposure to sun (sunburn) or heat
friction due to chafing of the skin
irritation such as caused by abrasives impregnated in clothing rubbing the skin!. The cloth itself may be abrasive enough for some people
Uncommon causes:

lead poisoning

I have the same thing at the moment!. I think there are lots of viruses going round!. I went to the Doctors and he weren't sure what it was, but he said it's nothing to worry about!. I got some cream which is clearing it up a bit now!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would ring the hospital, purple and red rashes are the ussually the bad ones (please dont freak out) But if you have been feeling unwell and now hav e purple rash you definately need medical attention!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Could just be allergy, if its not gone in 3 days have your Doc check it out, you could try an ointment with a 10% cortizone base!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
