Question: This question has too much info but i am worried!?
For a few weeks i have been very itchy down below but not inside the vagina but at the top near where my pubic hair is and just below that inside my vagina(above my clit)!. I didn't think it could be thrush as it is only that small area so i assumed it was like a heat rash!. Anyway a few days ago i noticed a small lump in the area where it itches so i kept an eye on it but the other day i thought i had better make an appointment to get it checked out!. I decided to examine it so i could explain to the doctor what it was like and as i was it popped! A yellow liquid came out and i wasn't even touching it hard, i clean the area and was so embarrassed i didn't make the appointment hoping it would go by itself!. Now the lump is still there and still itches i am too scared to go to the doctor as i suffer from anxiety!. What could this be!? I know you are not doctors but any info would be great!. It couldn't be a sti or std as i have only been with one partner for 5 years and we both got checked out when we started sleeping together and i know he hasn't been unfaithful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
go see your doctor!. I guarantee this is not the strangest thing that he or she has ever seen before!. It might seem embarassing to you, but your doctor will handle it with poise and will explain to you exactly what it is, why it is and what to do about it!. Doctors are good about that kind of thing, especially doctors that work around lady parts all day - and if they're not, you should find a better doctor!. If you're too embarassed to see your primary care physician than go to a clinic that you've never been to before!. You can use a fake name if you like!. No one will know who you are or anything about you that way!.

I know it's stressful dealing with issues like this, as I suffer from anxiety too, but either you stress until you go to the appointment and feel better afterward knowing the truth - OR - you stress about this little bump for the rest of your life not knowing for sure if you should be concerned or not!. I'd want to know for sure, wouldn't you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

In reality the best bet is to get checked out!. The longer you wait it might get worse or spread!. Please go get it checked, and dont get embarrassed, it happens, you should get embarrased it if get worse because you did not want to take care of it!. Just rying to help, go get it checked, or go to a clinic!.
