I'm So tired of being sick! Why am I not feeling better?!

Question: I'm So tired of being sick! Why am I not feeling better!?
I had mono for the first month of university!. I finally started to feel better, and then it was midterm time!. Between cramming to study for exams, working, dance rehearsals - which I have 5 days, 8 times a week, gym workout (I'm a retired gymnast, so I like to keep up with training out of habit), and life in general, my schedule is definitely quite full!. However, I was looking forward to finally getting back to normal!.
Now, just two weeks after getting my life back, I feel quite ill again!. It started up about four days ago, with just a little achiness!. Now, my throat is sore - no white spots this time, but quite inflamed and red!. My temp has spiked back up to 102-103 (with Tylenol)!. I'm shaky and exhausted!. My glands are swollen and painful!. I skipped workout and rehearsals yesterday, but today I had to go!. My instructor allowed me to watch most of rehearsal, because I felt so ill I nearly passed out when I tried to run the number, and at the gym I could only stretch and run for a few minutes before I was too winded to continue!. All I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep all day, but I still have three exams left!.
It just seems so unfair! I just had mono - how can I be sick again so soon!? I'm tired of spending week-ends and holidays in because I'm too exhausted from the week to do anything!. And I'm tired of life being a struggle because I'm ill!. Why is this not getting any better!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got mono a year ago during the middle of my semester and even through your not contagious after 8 week its takes about 6 months to get completely back to normal!. Cut anything extra out for at least another month a double up on your multi vitamin and take b-12 sub-lingual to help get better faster!. That is what I had to do and you need to drop or take an incomplete in any physical classes!. No gym for a month!. It does not sound like you over the mono!. Have your your blood retested to see if your better some people take 12 weeks to get over mono but at least 6 weeks before you start anything physical!.

And Mono affects your immune system for almost 6 months I got three other infections after I got over mono!. You need to rest or you will keep getting sick!. You should go back to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate to say it, but you jumped into doing too much too soon!. I had mono years ago and it took me over 4 months to feel 'normal' again and I had a very strong immune system!.

Now you've overworked your system and although you're not starting all over again with full-blown mono (at least I'm assuming you're not), it sounds like you'll need quite a bit more bed rest and no physical activity for quite some time!. When your body has had the chance to recover, then you should begin your activities S L O W L Y!. You jumped right back in and just can't do that!.

Go to the doctor and get written excuses from any required activity!. Personally, after the exams, I'd head home and take time off from your education to recover properly!. It's SO important to take care of yourself when you're young - believe me, your body will thank you for it when you're older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
