17 month old with a medium fever for a few days developed a rash today?!

Question: 17 month old with a medium fever for a few days developed a rash today!?
My little one has had a medium fever for about three days which I attributed to teething!. I have been giving him Motrin and Tylenol to lower the fever!. Today he started throwing up a LOT, and when I stripped him to wash him off I noticed a rash!. The rash was not there in the morning!. It is all over his torso, arms, neck and legs but not on his face!. It is just tiny red dots not very close together!. I looked up measles, scarlet fever and rubella and it doesn't look like any of those things!. He has not had any new foods and we have not changed and products (detergent, soaps, fab softener)!. Any one have any clue what to look up next!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
meningitis - every second counts!

Rule that out first! Do the glass test, hold a glass of the rash, if it dissapears when u press the glass onto it or goes white-ish, it isnt meningitis, and most likely something nasty but not life threatening

Doctors can do so very little for babies, u are already doing everyting, keeping his tempreture down and soothing him
The danger with vomiting is dehydration, if your baby cannot hold down fluids for longer than 2 days, call the doctor, in fact, not a bad idea to call him anyway, the worst part of children being ill is the worrying, it zaps all your energy, and you are going to need it with restless nights ahead

Good luck, be cool, Www@Answer-Health@Com

What are you feeding him!? Look up candidiasis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please please get your little one to a doctor right away!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
