Answers:
If you have started puberty than working out can only be beneficial!. Yes start out with a weight that is comfortable then when that becomes too easy, go higher!. If you want to gain muscle mass then do heavier weights with less reps!. You are only 14, you will grow so much between now and the end of high school!. But working out is a great way to get yourself growing stronger faster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does she think that you're going to be holding the weights the rest of your life to the point that they drag your height down!? I'm pretty sure that working out is a good thing!. I'd rather be short and muscular than tall and skinny!. If anything you'd get heavier because of muscle mass, and bigger ( because of your muscles )!. Don't overdo yourself!. Do something you're comfortable with, it doesn't have to be something that pushes you to your limits!. And push ups are also a good way to get stronger, and you can do them almost anywhere!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
