Question: Before getting a needle, why does the doctor ask you to take a deep breath!?

To distract you from thinking too much about the needle!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
The process of prompting someone to take a deep breath and releasing it can help distract and relax from that moment during the procedure!. It also help refocus a person and bring them back into themselves which avoid someone being startled because they were not really aware!.
