Question: Cant find the link- trying to find what antidepressants do to bipolars-any links!? thanks!?
his doc told him never to take an antidepressant n his weekend on call so called doctor changed his meds n gave him a antidepressant--i know the good doc said it would cause a mania!

OMG, I was misdiagnosed with Bipolar and on both Bipolar meds and anti-depressants and was non-functional for two years straight!. I found a site back then that said if you're Bipolar you should not take anti-depressants and if you're severly depressed, you should not take Bipolar meds!. My doctor at the time would not re-assess me for nothin'! I tried and tried but he said no and I was so messed up for those 2 years!
I just tried looking for a page on this (quickly) but couldn't find one!. But there are websites out there that discuss the dangers of taking one medication with the other!Www@Answer-Health@Com
