Answers:
Pre-med courses include:

1 year of Physics with lab
1 year of Biology with lab
1 year of English Composition
1 year General Chemistry
1 year Organic Chemistry

Prior to matriculating into medical you will need to have acquired a bachelors degree!. In addition to taking the above classes there will be a number of electives that will vary depending on your undergraduate school!. Most medical school recommend that you take classes in biochemistry, cell biology, anatomy and physiology and genetics as part of you bachelors degree curriculum!. Further, these classes will help you immensely on the MCAT exam which you will need to take prior to entering medical school!.

Usually, you will take your required courses (listed above) in you freshman and sophmore years so that you can take your MCAT and apply to medical school by your senior year!.

The best thing you can do is meet with the premed (or pre-health) committee at your school as soon as you enter undergrad and tell them of your intentions so they can put you on the right track!.

Keep in mind!!!!.!.!.!. that you do NOT need to major in "pre-med" to get accepted into medical school!. The important thing is that no matter what your major is, you have taken the required courses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
