Help, my 3 year old has a high fever?!

Question: Help, my 3 year old has a high fever!?
This morning my daughter had a fever of 105!.2, I immediately started bringing it down with tylenol fluids and a cooling bath!. It dropped for about 1!.5 hours and got all the way down to 100!.8 then started to climb back up and hit 105!.6!. I again got tylenol(with a struggle) into her and got her back into the tub for as long as she could handle it!. Shes totally lethargic but hasn't had any seizures that I noticed!. I don't know what this all could mean!. I'm waiting for my hubby to get home so we can take her to the hospital!. has anyone experienced this!? shes never had a temp over 103 and is usually healthyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
dampen a cloth and put it on her head most of the body's heat is in the head so cool the front of the head and the back of the neck and on the wrists places with a lot of blood flow are the best places to cool but most of all seek medical attention immediately Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heat is lost from the body by conduction (cold cloth, cool bath) convection (fan), radiation and evaporation (tylenol, advil)!. 20 % of heat loss occurs through the top of your head!. Does she have neck pain, if you lift her legs up does she have hip pain!? A rash anywhere on her body!? One last thing your temperature is lowest in the morning and highest in the evening, take care, DonnaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Temperatures that high are dangerous!. It is very risky to wait before seeking medical attention in a situation like this!. Please get your daughter medical attention right away!. Call 911 if you have to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm no medical expert, but it sounds like the flu!. My mom had it a couple years ago and she had a high fever & could barely move!.

I would get her to the hospital now, if the fever is that high she is in danger!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If either of my child has a temp of 104 or higher, I wouldn't be asking what to do online!. I would give them a dose of Tylenol/ibuprofen and take them to the doctor ASAP!. If its after hours, Urgent Care or the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what the hell are you waiting for, get medical help immediately!.

No one is yelling at you!. But its obvious that you need to seek advice from a professional source to put your mind at ease,Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter was sick like that in March!. Her eyes were glassy like and she was lethargic!. Call her pediatrician and let him or her know how your daughter is!. My daughter's fever had to break on its own!. I hope your daughter feels better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
