What extra precautions do you take this time of year to avoid cold/flu.?!


Question: What extra precautions do you take this time of year to avoid cold/flu!.!?
Other than the obvious frequent hand washing and flu shots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

using sanitizers to clean remotes and all surfaces that you touch will help!. Also cleaning grocery cart handles Its hard to not catch it when so many people are not careful and will cough without covering their mouth!. Or sneeze in there hand or wipe their nose with their hands and then wipe it on their pants then later shake your hands!. Another source of catching the flue or cold is kids alot of parents dont teach their kids the right way to wash their hands, if they even do!. I was with a friends kid who went to leave the bathroom with out washing her hands, I stopped her and made her wash them as she fought me!. I explained that if she did not she will not hold my hand or touch any of my stuff cause she is carring bathroom germs on her hands and it could make me and my baby sick!. Since then she washes her hands!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!.Avoid drinking too hot or too cold drinks!. 2!. Avoid taking something too cold immediately after a hot meal,give at least 5 minutes gap 3!. Avoid jumping in and out of a room where there is a great difference in Temperature, without being properly clothed!. 4!.If you have to sit in the same encloser where a person having cold is sitting and breathing in the same air ( like in an aeroplane,or meeting room ),take an anti allergic tab!.the same night after reaching home!. 5!. Don't shake hands or share clothes with an infected person!. 6!. After inhaling the cold virus one gets the feeling that i am going to catch a cold soon!.At this stage take an anti allergic at bed time and one the next night!.you will be saved from catching a cold!.Moreover,once you take the anti allergic tab!.,your other family members will not get cold because of you!.( all anti allergic or anti cold tabs!.cause drowsiness!.So if taken at bed time,the drowsiness passes in the sleep and one gets up fresh in the morning )Www@Answer-Health@Com

One of the simpler things I do (for both myself and my 2 kids) is to drink 1 full glass of Orange Juice a day - typically in the a!.m!. before school/day care and we all take our vitamins as well!.
Surprisingly this has helped tremendously - my youngest (2 1/2) hasn't been sick in OVER 7 months!
