There're a couple of things you can do, but some of them you might not like as much!.

First of all, whispering is very bad for the vocals in general, so whispering is only going to keep your voice gone for a longer period of time!. Second, hot tea with honey helps because it is smooth on the throat and vocal cords!.

Then, you can try, once a day, to moisten a towel, put it in the microwave until very warm and then wrap it around your neck!. This allows the cords to loosen up a bit and they can breath, thereby allowing them to heal faster!.

The one you might not like is: you should refrain from talking as much as possible until your voice is back!. Straining your voice is only going to hurt it more and that's not going to help you!. If you do have to talk though, try not to whisper!. Try to talk in a higher voice than you would usually use!. This sounds weird and unbelievable, but if you do it, your voice will heal faster!.

I hope this helps you and I hope you get better soon!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a special tea called "Throat Coat" that you can get in many health stores!. It works for me!.!.!. I am a singer!. There is also throat spray that doesn't taste great but works called "Singer's Saving Grace"!. Same, you can get it at health stores!. Also, avoid talking as much as you can, and DO NOT whisper!. This will not help your voice at all!. It closes your vocal chords and creates tension and friction, which will make it worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got over this!. I actually went about a week without much of a voice, and I just did what I thought my throat needed at the time!. Sometimes, hot drinks felt best!. Sometimes, iced cold drinks felt better!. Just keep yourself hydrated, and your body will do what it can for you :)

Good luck, and I hope you feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
