Usually it's caused by anxiety or nervousness!.!.!.a precursor to the "fight or flight" response!. You may not feel fear, but the nerves affected are the same!.

It's like a little alarm bell!.

The sensation is part of the body's fight-or-flight response to anxiety or danger!.
