hey well i was smoking until i find out i was having a baby, then the sickness(Morning) and etc!. made it where smoking made me sick and all!. now she is 1 month and 2 weeks old, and my doctor gave me meds for the baby blues(there were really bad, still taking them)!. With all that put together my husband left of the army Basic!. he left Monday, and i'm going crazy!. i stop smoking about a year and now its like coming back for some reason!. but i wanted to know if i smoke like 1 ciggs and day or every 2 days!.will that still be ok!? oh and i will be outside, NOT AROUND MY BABY!!! if i do that, will i very be able to quite again, i mean i always think i want to go back cause of my husband and the baby blues!. i mean it be easy to quite once those 2 get back to the way it was b4 right!? thanks for your help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest that you stay away from cigarette and from people that smoke in front of you, smoking is way more harmful than you may think!.
If you care about your baby, which i m sure you do, avoid any contact with cigarette!.

No, smoking is never okay to do!.!. especially when you have a baby!. Are you breastfeeding!? If so, then you DEFINITELY shouldn't smoke!. If you're not breastfeeding, then I would think about doing it because it's a lot healthier for your baby!. Whether you breastfeed or not, the smoke still stays on you even if you smoke outside!.

Definitely not, have patience with yourself, this may be a difficult time for you, therefore think of your baby, this little child has only you now that Dad is in basic training!. This little one needs you more than you need to have cigarette, her very life depends on you!. Spend your time loving and caring for this child!. Sing songs to the baby , play some music for the Baby and for yourself, good music like classics are excellent therapy for the Post natal "blues" Keep your hand and your mid busy with positive thoughts of healing, and do get some exercise, like walking, and going for fresh air when that is possible!. You have been free of an addiction now for a while, and stay that way!. Think of all the good things in your life, and write down 5 of them when you get up, and 5 more before going to bed!. No 1 is I am free from the tobacco and nicotine addiction No 2 I have this Beautiful and healthy baby to care for , now you add more, is there a husband to pray for and write to and visit maybe !. This is how smoking starts back up and the cigs creep thier way back into your life again and trust me, I know that it sucks!.!.!. but when you are at your lowest is when you have to be strongest because that's when the craving seeps back into your thoughts!. You are going to have to yell at that voice in your head that you don't want to smoke again!. It's hard but you can do it, just stick to your guns and keep saying no to yourself and eventually the craving will pass!.!.!. until the next craving!.

Do not smoke period!. There is always this temptation!. Once you pick up a cigarette you will be hooked and I guarantee you will not be able to smoke only a few!. I smoked for 35 years and quite several times, always went back and when I went back it was for years at a time!. until I made up my mind to quite for good!. You have to accept the fact that smoking is a deadly addiction, just the same as alcohol!. Hang in there!. Replace the bad smoking habit with a good one!. Go our for a walk, chew a stick of gum, or call someone to help you through the temptation!. Cause that is wat it is!.
