Question: What can happen with this flu shot incident!?
I went to the campus clinic to get my flu shot!. I filled out some papers and went to the room where they give them!. The person who administered my flu shot grabbed the needle and when he injected me, he said, "Hmm!.!.!." so I asked him, "Hmm What" and he said there wasnt anything in the needle!. He then injected me with the actual shot and let me leave!. I know its dangerous getting air bubbles shot into your blood stream or something like that, but is the flu shot injected into your bloodstream or muscle or what!.!.!.!? Here is my question: What are the effects of getting an empty flu shot!? How is the process of the flu shot adminstered, meaning, could the needle have been unused, but there was just no vaccine in it!? Thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds a little bit wierd!. The flu shot is usually delivered through the deltoid muscle on your upper arm!. The doctor should know that he is supposed to flick the needle a few to ensure that there are no air bubbles in it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
