I think the reason you constantly obsess is because you aren't in control of when you can talk to him or see him!. I had a friend who was in prison and it was a drag that I couldn't just pick up the phone and call!. He had to call me!. Also, prison wasn't just down the street, it was many many miles away (and visiting days were mostly conflicting with my work schedule)!. I can only imagine how that would feel if it were your significant other!. You should look into a group called Prison Talk ( http://www!.prisontalk!.com/ )!. Everyone there has someone they care about who is incarcerated!. Most everyone is supportive and helpful, It's closely moderated, so the ones who are rude are quickly dealt with!. Where my friend served, there is a certain amount of time they get for good behavior (something you may look into at the department of corrections, or that group I mentioned), so he may not serve the entire 2 years!. The judge may have also given him credit for time served, which would reduce this term by a few months depending on whether he served any time before this sentence!. As far as the meds, that is really something you should talk to your doctor about, nobody here is qualified to give you advice on that!. Good luck, and well wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you're in love and you miss him!. Fairly natural response under the circumstances I would say!. Do you have friends and family that can help you through this!?

It may be that an SSRI can help you reduce your obsessing!. See your doctor/psychiatrist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep very busy!. Find something meaningful to become involved in and make that your focus!. When you start to think about him and start feeling pain, tell yourself to think about something else!. Being involved in good things and keeping very busy help take away the pain!. Good Luck

Please talk to your doctor about your medications!. Perhaps something needs to be changed!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
