How would i know if i have TSS??? (toxic shock!!??)?!

i thought i had tss before as i had all the symptoms but it turns out i had endometriosis, tss is extremely rare, my gp has never seen a case in his 50 yrs as a doctor but if you are still worried go to your doctor!. you don't only get tss from tampons, men can get it too!.its just a bacteria that gets out of control and , rarely, wearing a tampon can cause the right conditions for the bacteria to thrive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Read the little thing that should have come inside your tampon box!. As far as I can remember, you'd have an extremely high temperature which would necessitate you being put in hospital right away, at which point I'm sure the doctors would diagnose you!.

Basically, don't:
1!. leave your tampon in for more than 6 hours
2!. use a 'larger' tampon than necessary for your flow
3!. sleep with your tampons in
4!. use a tampon whos wrapper is open, if you dropped it on the floor, put it down, whatever!. Just open a new one!.
5!. put in your tampon with dirty hands!.

if you left a tampon in longer than 8 hours, don't worry too much, they only put that warning because back in the day some women used to think that if they used the super absorbency tampons then they could leave them in for DAYS at a time because they were "super" tampons!. if you start to get a fever then go to the doctor and tell them you think it could be tss, they will put you on antibiotics if they suspect tss!. you'll be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From what I've heard, you'll start to feel really sick and feverish and your lower stomach will hurt really bad!. If you don't get it treated it could be deadly, but I think it would take a while!.
