i heard that if you take it out and there is an infection, when it closes up the infection will be trapped and not able to drain and will form an absess which is very dangerous!? helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

i have my tongue pierced and it had a small white lump underneath for a while its gone now
if you dont like it just take it out dont worry bout it your tongue will heal in literally a day and ull have a slight scar if nething at all
if u fear your tongue is infected use listerine mouthwash or that two coloured one or rinse ur mouth out with salt water daily you should be doin this anyway after having it done someone i knew had their tongue pierced and it went infected she jus took hers out and it was fine dont worry sounds ok :) Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually you are unlucky, tongue piercings rarely get infected if done properly as saliva is antiseptic!. Any wound where a foreign body is present heals more slowly than if it were removed!. If you don't like the piercing, remove it and use an antiseptic mouthwash at least 3 times a day and it should settle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get some mouthwash from the chemist, Listerine is good!. Use it for a couple of minutes, remove the bar and wash again with fresh mouthwash!.

piercing will heal very quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yet another reason to NEVER pierce your tongue!. Perhaps others will see how dumb it really is by seeing your problems!. Good luck fixing the damage you have done to yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take it out it will close quickly because the mouth always does, if worried see doctor to check!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
