Why did everything seem slow motion when I woke up?!

Question: Why did everything seem slow motion when I woke up!?
Last night, I woke up from the middle of a dream, and it was really weird!. It was the first time I ever experienced something like that!. So everything seemed to really be going in slow motion, my movements, everything, while the sounds of cars outside remained the same, but a little louder than usual to me!. Everything looked kind of zoomed in also, like they were bigger, and everything looked a little bent!. I really don't know how to describe it!. This lasted for about 30 seconds!. How does this scientifically happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You senses are probably hyper acute!. Some people can make out every detail of their surrounding with incredible accuracy!. This is sometimes reported after a nightmare!. You body has all the chemical responses or the fight or flight instinct, but none of the movement!. It's possible to have a nightmare and not remember it!. It's something your brain does to protect you!.
If you were having a dream with hyper stimulation such as graphic imagery or perhaps even arousal, your senses become more acute to take it all in while in the dream state!. Think of a dream as your brain's way of running a simulation!. Much like a computer runs a simulation before executing a program!. In people, our dreams are simulations!. The waking world is the program running as so to speak!.

I hope I helped to explain that some!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ive experienced that on a couple of occasions!. Sometimes its got to do with the brain still not being fully awake!. In fact for an adult brain to wake up it takes about 15 minutes to be at 100% or close to it!. It could also be a sign of dehydration!. Drink some more water before going to bed, and keep a glass by your bed if you wake up in the middle of the night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
