No you should never put anything in the ear canal; although I agree that is what the 'ear buds' are designed for!. You have little hairs in the ears that will naturally keep any wax from building up and clogging, they should also push the wax out!. There is no need for the use of ear buds!. If the little hairs in the ears don't work efficiently, you should be using olive oil or Otex ear drops regularly to keep the wax soft and perhaps have them syringed now and again if you get a build up!. Avoid the use of ear buds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Apparently its a bad idea, but I use them, just be careful not to push like wax deeper into your ear!. So I'd say as long as your ear is shaped right go for it, but I thin some peoples ears are just to narrow to do it without just packing I in!. Oh and if your ears are to narrow, don't worry about it, I read that it will just fall out on its own (I guess just hope that its not at an inopportune time ha ha)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah they can but they have their pro's and con's!. My doctor told me to stop because I was plugging up my ear with wax, rather then removing it!. He said a dab of cooking oil every now and again will remove the wax naturally!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
They were talking about this on that Doctors show the other day!. They said it's no recommended because it will push the wax further into your ear, causing more harm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a good rule of thumb: never put anything smaller thant your thumb in your ear! use a clean washcloth to clean your ears!. if you have a problem with waxy buildup, talk to your dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
