Question: Why do so many doctors/nursers, pepole who work in hospitals, try to judge you so much!?
I went in for some breathing problem complaints, and they tried to judge me and add that I may need psychological/psychiatric care, and this and that and this and that!. They seem to judge you entirely inside-out, and what not, which I think is great, if they're trained and really know all of this but I mean, my god, they really just sometimes can be insulting!.
Is this just them trying to discern who's serious and who's not!?

I agree, they can be quite neurotic!. But, they do see people with similar symptoms quite frequently, believe me, you can tell right away when someone is crashing!. As far as your symptoms, they should have checked your vital signs, asked about coughs/chest pains, given you an explanation that people have sx similar to yours and reassured you that you are fine, and give you information if something changes to see your doctor or return to ED!. I think, assigning the psychological status is premature!. It can be quite discouraging, and that's why they get sued, for dismissing a patient's complaints and not doing a complete workup!.!.

you know what, the same thing has been hapening to me!. ive been sick for 3 months!. they blamed it on anxiety without even really asking me whats been wrong, and told me i should go to a psyciatrist!. then my parents started believing them, and now they think im faking it all!. well, i think its really stupid that they do stuff like that just because im young!. i hate how they do that!. i had to change my doctor 3 times before i got one that listened!. and i finally got a doctor that is willing to run tests on me!. and this is after 3 months of being sick!!!! insanity! i think its completely stupid, and unprofessional!. what do they go to school for!?!!?!!?! i can tell if someone is sick better then they can!. wth did they do in medical school!? ugh its so annoying!. lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People who judge do so through sheer ignorance and in this case prolly a desire to hide the fact that they don't have a flaming clue whats wrong with you mate !.!.!.!. so they hide behind intolerance and agression !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. shortness of breath can be caused by dehydration mate !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. you need at least 2 litres of water daily just to maintain aspiration (to breathe) !.!.!.!.!.!.!. your body needs water to digest nutrients, lubricate joints, think clearly, actually for each and every single cellular function water is essential !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. ditch any sodas, pop or soft drinks !.!.!.!.!. cut right back on the coffee too if you drink any as they will all dehydrate you terribly !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. as will alcohol !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. not to mention all the nutrients and vitamins they will waste for you!.
