i am a 15 year old girl!.and i just got my tongue pierced yesterday!.(i went with my best friend)!.We both got it and 2day i have a party!.!.!.!.!.at the party there is gonna b weed and liquor!.!.!.!.!.will i b able to drink and smoke!?!?!?!.!.!.!.or should i just drink!? or just smoke!?!.!.!.which 1 should i do!?!?!?!.!.!.!.my parents dont noe dat i got da piercing!.!.!.is it to soon 2 do any of them!?!?!?!.!.!.!.!.please dnt tell me im 2 young kuz im still gonna do it!.!.!.!.i already hav the piercing so dnt say its nasty or dat i shouldn't of done it!.!.!.!.!.please jst give me 4 da advice i askd 4!.!.!.!.!.!.thnx!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can drink and smoke, only if you rinse with salt water right after!. I would think its a hassle to carry a bottle of salt water with you every where!. So I wouldn't drink or smoke if I were you!. Also it takes about 8 weeks to heal, and that's when you can change the barbell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can pretty much do anything as long as your taking care of the piercing!. Swish around in your mouth with listerine several times a day, like after you've eaten, drank, smoked or whatever you do!. As long as you keep it clean and take care of it you lessen your risk of infection and it will heal fasater!. I had my tongue pierced for years and never got one infection! Www@Answer-Health@Com
