Answers:
sorry but no its not the mascara might have any germs that caused you to get an infection!.!.all the makeup that you were using be for the infection you need to throw out and get new onesWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have also suffered from eye infections, in the past!. I was advised by my Doctor to forget about any mascara/eye make-up that I used before getting the eye infection!. Your mascara will most likely infected, so just throw it away!. It is important that you follow good hygiene rules to prevent getting another infection!. While you have the infection, avoid wearing any eye makeup to stop the eye becoming re-infected!. By the way, have you tried any eye drops!? They work wonders, trust me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First: If you been taking antibiotics and no improvement then the antibiotics are probably not working!.

Secondly: It may not be an infection!.!.!. could be numerous other things!.

thirdly: Dont even think about eye make up when you got red eyes, you dont know what is causing it and it could make it worse!.

(i would think that your doctor would be smart enough to recognise the antibiotics not working, unless you silly enough to not take advice of a doctor before taking antibiotics)?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I don't know if it'll do anything to your eye, but I do know that you're likely to contaminate your mascara so that you'll reinfect yourself once you're over the infection!.

It's probably not the best idea, but if you're going to wear mascara, throw the product away and buy a new one once you're over your infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are going to wear mascara, at least make sure that it is new and not one that you have used when you've had your eye infection!. Get stronger antibiotics, I think you can wear it though, it wont hurt!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's best not to irritate the area, but if you MUST, throw away that eye makeup and do not use it again after!. It could just keep re-spreading the infection - to both eyes!.!.!. And do the make up on the healthy eye first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't because what ever is wrong with your eye might get bacteria on your mascara brush and then you will spread the infection!. If you do get a new mascara!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should probably lay off the eye makeup untill it's healed!.
