When can I take my next does of Penicillin?!
Question: When can I take my next does of Penicillin!?
I am supposed to take it 2 times a day (one pill twice a day) and I just got it at 5pm, so I took one at 5pm so when tonight can I take my 2nd dose!? It is for strep throat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would take it at 10 even if your to take it 2 times !.!. since you just got it getting the extra in wont hurt !.!. that is what my doctors always tell me or you can wait and take the next dose in the morning and start all over!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take it every 12 hours,,,, and make SURE you don't miss a dose,,, you'll only have to get up early for a few days,,, you don't want to let it go,, strep can turn into something really bad if you don't treat it with a full course of antibiotics,,, it is important to have maintain a steady level of it in your bloodstream to be effective

take it first thing in the AM, not before 5 AM!. If you don't wake up till 7, 8 or 9, that is OK!. Your sleep is just as important as the medicaiton!.
Then, in the evening, figure out a schedule where you are awake that works 8 am and 8 pm!? 9 am and 9 PM!? Take it at the time that will be 12 hours before you take it the next morning!.

anytime early tomorrow morning to get you on a schedule that works for you, like 6a 6p or 7a, 8am or 9am etc!.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
