You poop more often on your period because of the hormones that are released prior and during your period!. These hormones shed the uterine lining, but also have an effect on your gasto system!. Speeding things up!. Lots of women get diaherrha during their periods or have more frequent stools!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
My GYN told me that I have a tilted uterus, so when I have my period it pushes against my colon and makes me have to go (and usually get diarrhea)!. Putting in a tampon does the same kinda thing where it stimulates your colon muscles, but hey, poop is a good thing!Www@Answer-Health@Com
