Question: Why do people turn green when they get sick!?
I know a lot of people think it only happens in cartoons, but I definitely turn green when I am about to throw up or if I just have!. My whole family does!. Anyone know why this happens!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your face is highly vascularized (has lots of blood vessels in it) which gives Caucasians a nice, healthy, pink tint (I'm assuming you are Caucasian)!. When you get sick, the blood rushed out of your face to your stomach where your body needs it most at the moment!. Without the red tint of blood, you are left with your yellowish skin mixed with bluish-looking vessels!. These colors together give the illusion of green!
